Beginning early next year, Allegiant Airlines will begin offering 30 new nonstop routes to 35 cities around the country from Trenton-Mercer Airport, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.
The airport, located just across the river from Bucks County, has only offered Frontier flights since it opened to commercial flights.
Allegiant offers low-cost flights, connecting small and medium-sized cities to well-known vacation spots.
“We’re thrilled to continue Allegiant’s growth by adding these new routes,” said Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer Drew Wells.
“Our mission has always been to connect travelers to world-class destinations at an affordable price. These additions provide convenient options for leisure travelers and reflect our commitment to expanding service where demand is strong. As we grow, we remain focused on delivering the most value to our customers,” he continued.
Round-trip flights to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida from Trenton begin on Feb. 19.
New flights to and from Punta Gorda Airport in Punta Gorda, Florida, will begin on Feb. 20.
A new route between Trenton and St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport in St. Pete-Clearwater, Florida, will begin on Feb. 20.
