Three Best Friends and Pennsbury Grads Open New Brewery in Morrisville

RiverTide Brewing is a new brewery set to open this November, created by three friends and Pennsbury grads, Frank Brill, Ken Terry and Rob Staples.

Best friends and Pennsbury High School grads Frank Brill, Ken Terry and Rob Staples are getting ready to open RiverTide Brewing in Morrisville in the former Bitchin’ Kitten space, writes Michele Haddon for the Bucks County Courier Times.

“Frank’s a great brewer, Kenny’s great in the kitchen and I run a great front of the house,” said Staples. “Once we started really talking about it, we realized it was something we could do. It’s now or never. We’re just counting on one another. And it’s nice having that trust in those guys.”

The menu will feature 12 taps, including Pennsylvania wines and spirits, cocktails and mocktails, their own line of non-alcoholic options and craft beers, and delicious food options.

Customers will also be able to choose from a selection of handhelds, salads and sharables, along with kids meals served on cafeteria-style trays.

The trio hopes to officially open the space in mid-November once their liquor license is approved.

The plan is for the space to be open from 4 PM to 11 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3 PM to midnight on Fridays, 12 PM to midnight on Saturdays, and 10 AM to 8 PM on Sundays.

“I hope people come here, and they feel like they’re also part of that friendship group that we’ve always had,” said Terry.
