
Chester County Hospital’s own Michele Giglio Uy, Nutrition Services Operations Manager, was recently celebrated as the Penn Medicine Healthcare Hero during the Philadelphia Union game on Saturday, Jul. 26.
Giglio Uy plays an essential role in the hospital’s nutrition services department, ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering high-quality support to patients and the community. Her leadership extends to overseeing the Meals on Wheels program, which provides vital nutrition to individuals who may otherwise face food insecurity.
A strong advocate for community health, Giglio Uy was instrumental in securing the Good Food Healthy Hospital Nutrition Security Grant, a significant achievement that expands the hospital’s ability to provide healthier food options and promote wellness initiatives throughout the community.
