Contemporary Design Meets Palm Springs Glamour in West Chester Home

Krystal Reinhard from Old Soul Design Studio helped Jeffery Osgood and Patrick Richard create their dream home.

Jeffery Osgood and Patrick Richard blended contemporary design with Palm Springs glamour in their West Chester home with the help of Krystal Reinhard from Old Soul Design Studio, writes Kelsey Mulvey for Good Housekeeping

“Krystal didn’t just design our home,” said Richard. “She helped us discover who we are. Our partnership with her is built on deep trust, shared taste, and a kind of design telepathy that’s hard to describe.”

The home has a mix of textiles, patterns, and art to bring out the best of both worlds. The large living room was made to feel cozier through the strategic placement of furniture.

A leather couch, acrylic-upholstered stools, and a gilded coffee table create the perfect backdrop for connection and conversation. The focal point is Kelly O’Neal’s graffiti-esque painting.

“There’s this very colorful art piece that’s blended with a minimalist, contemporary vibe so it’s still soothing,” said Reinhard

The dining area, with crisp, dramatic neutrals, is softened by metal and acrylic stools reupholstered in nature-inspired fabric, while the neutral kitchen is highlighted by a full-slab Silestone Calacatta backsplash with matching countertops.

The overall home gives a retro and refined note that is full of personality.
