A Walmart location in Elverson is set to receive a complete store makeover, writes staff for PhillyBite Magazine.
Recently, Walmart announced plans to renovate 26 store locations across Pennsylvania. The company will begin construction on the Elverson location, located at 100 Crossings Blvd, at some point in 2025.
Walmart plans to remodel stores across the country to achieve a modernized, inviting look and make the store more shopper-friendly. The company dedicated $9 billion to the nationwide renovations.
Planned changes include updating interiors to create a brighter, more modern in-store experience. Walmart will also reorganize and expand several departments in the store.
Additionally, with an increase in online shopping in recent years, the company will fill online orders more quickly to make the simplify the online shopping experience.
In addition to aesthetic changes inside the store, the renovations will create job opportunities and make the store more inviting for the community. Annie Walker, Senior Vice President of Walmart’s East Business Unit, shared that the changes promise a better customer experience, stating, “Our stores often serve as the heartbeat of the communities we operate in, and these remodels are a testament to our dedication to enhancing that role.”
