Housekeeper
Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting a hospitality-focused Housekeeping Associate to join its team. This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community.
This is a full-time position, scheduled for 37.5 hours per week. Availability to work every other weekend and on holidays is required.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Housekeeper:
- Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.
- Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.
Here are a few of the qualifications you need to have:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Three to six months of experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.

Licensed Practical Nurse
Freedom Village at Brandywine is currently hiring a licensed practical nurse for a full-time position with a schedule that includes weekdays and every other weekend, as well as a part-time position with a schedule of Fridays and every other weekend. This role is eligible for a shift differential of $1.25 for evenings during the week and $2.50 on weekends. The starting salary is $30 per hour.
This hospitality-focused LPN provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Resident Caregivers for our Personal Care Home/Assisted Living.
Daily responsibilities for this position:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities, and actively promote the independent lifestyle of residents.
- Responsible for identifying resident medical and behavioral changes, developing and monitoring care plans, and conducting regular reassessments of each resident.
- Provide a daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
- Provide nursing care according to the physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to residents and assist in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
Qualifications for this position:
- Current nursing license valid in Pennsylvania.
- Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community.

Caregiver
Freedom Village is multiple caregiver positions on all shifts for full-time, part-time and Per diem.
Pay rate starting at $16/hour with shift differential for nights, evenings and weekends.
Freedom Village is currently offering a $500 sign-on bonus.
It is seeking Caregivers for its Personal Care Home. All caregivers must complete the Direct Care Competency training and provide a copy of their certificate at time of hire. If you are not certified, Freedom Village will provide you the opportunity to take and complete the course.
