West Chester Resident, Eagles Star Landon Dickerson Stays Motivated After Four Seasons of Success

Landon Dickerson, an Eagles left guard since 2021, says a love for the game motivates him even after his years of success.

Philadelphia Eagles left guard and West Chester resident Landon Dickerson remains dedicated to the sport even after several seasons of success, writes Geoff Mosher for PhillyVoice.

Dickerson has played for the Eagles since 2021. In the years since, he’s had a remarkable series of accomplishments, including three Pro Bowls, a Super Bowl win, and a four-year $84 million contract extension.

The 26-year-old left guard’s titles and contract make him a standout player across the NFL. But even after his years of personal achievement, Dickerson remains motivated by his mistakes and a love for football.

Dickerson stays mindful of what he considers to be his own mistakes. About a block at this year’s Super Bowl, which others called a “masterclass,” Dickerson said it wasn’t ideal.

In analyzing his own gameplay, Dickerson stays dedicated to improving his game and continuing his already successful career.

But on top of his own performance, Dickerson stays dedicated to a love for the game and his teammates. About the Super Bowl, Dickerson said, “It’s the highest level, but at this point it’s a love for the game, love of the guys out here, and just of competition.”
