Three Delaware County high schools made it onto a list of the top 25 high schools in the Philadelphia Metro Area, based on data from Niche, according to an article in Slack.
Niche used seven weighted factors to determine its rankings. The bulk of the score is based on academics, which utilizes seven weighted factors for its rankings. Most of the score is based on academics, but the school’s culture and diversity, sports, clubs and activities, resources, and surveys of parents, teachers, and students were also included in the ranking determination.
All three Delaware County high schools received an A+ grade from Niche.
Radnor High School placed 18th on the top 25 list. The public school has an enrollment of 1,126 students with a student-to-teacher ratio of 12 to 1.
The Agnes Irwin School, a private school in Bryn Mawr, ranked 7th on the list. It has an enrollment of 617 students with a seven to 1 student to teacher ratio.
Episcopal Academy in Newtown Square is ranked second among the top 25. It has an enrollment of 1,275 students, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 7 to 1.
