As a Fourth of July staple, a fireworks display is the perfect way to spend a summer evening outdoors, writes staff for 6abc.
Here are five locations with upcoming fireworks events across Chester County to celebrate the summer season.
Good Neighbor Day—Downingtown. Set for July 4 in Kerr Park, this yearly event will feature community races, live performances, and carnival-style activities throughout. The event will end with fireworks currently scheduled for 9:30 PM.
Community Day—West Chester. Scheduled for June 28, Community Day offers family-friendly fun from face painting to moon bounces to live music. Food vendors include Kona Ice and Sabatino’s Pizza.
Longwood Gardens—Kennett Square. Longwood Gardens will offer fireworks and fountain shows on July 3 and July 19 at 9:15 PM. Fireworks and fountain displays will be set to themed music, including American fanfare and 1980s favorites.
Dayton Street Field—Phoenixville. On July 5 at dusk, Phoenixville’s fireworks celebration will end with a stunning firework display after dark. Food and music will begin at 6 PM, and guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Wilson Farm Park—Chesterbrook. Set for July 4 at 7 PM, Tredyffrin Township’s annual celebration will feature local vendors and live music from DJ Joe Griffith. Fireworks will begin at dusk before the event ends at 9:15 PM.
