Bluebird Distilling is celebrating ten years in Phoenixville with a major expansion, writes Anne E. Hill for the Main Line Today.
The $2 million project, slated for completion by winter, will completely revamp the distillery and tasting room.
It will also add a full-service pizzeria and restaurant, expand the bottle shop and retail space, and bring Char & Stave onsite. The distillery’s boozy coffee shop concept has been successful in Ardmore and Chestnut Hill.
At the heart of the renovation, there will be a custom rectangle bar area featuring 30 seats, a fireplace, and banquette seating designed for gatherings.
“We’re not just expanding – we’re evolving,” said Bluebird Distilling’s founder and master distiller Jared Adkins. “This next chapter is all about crafting a deeper, more dynamic guest experience. We want people to gather, linger, and connect over everything we do – spirits, food, coffee, conversation. That’s what Bluebird is all about.”
The eatery’s menu features scratch-made pizzas, house-baked breads, seasonal sandwiches, and salads. Each item is designed to pair perfectly with the distillery’s extensive cocktail offerings.
Meanwhile, the retail area will showcase a floor-to-ceiling barrel stave wall and an expanded range of bottles.
