What started as a summer hustle with a lawnmower and some flyers has turned into a thriving entrepreneurial journey for Chase Gallagher, owner of CMG Landscaping and Lawn Pro Turf Care, based in West Chester.
Raised in Chester Springs, Gallagher launched his first business at just 13 years old under the name Buzz Cut Lawn Care LLC.
“I started passing out flyers and mowing lawns after school,” he said. “It just grew from there.”
That early drive laid the groundwork for a business portfolio that now includes two successful companies, real estate investments, a growing social media brand — and partnerships with national names like John Deere and Boss Snow Plowing.
Gallagher, now 24, moved to West Chester in 2024, citing it as a “great central location” for both work and community. Though his formal education ended with graduation from Downingtown High School, his real-world business experience has been anything but traditional.
Today, he oversees marketing, training, and sales appointments for his companies, while also actively building his real estate holdings and producing content for his online platforms. His digital presence has resonated with a wide audience of young entrepreneurs and tradespeople, leading to national brand deals and collaborations.
“One of my proudest accomplishments was taking a step back and realizing how far I’ve come,” Gallagher said. “From a kid with a mower to where I am now … it’s been an incredible ride.”
Faith and mentorship have played key roles in his journey.
“God is number one,” he said. “And I’ve had many mentors along the way; I couldn’t pick just one.”
When he’s not working, Gallagher can be found enjoying his favorite Chester County hotspot, The Social Lounge in West Chester.
