Vanguard Earns Top Spot for DIY Investor Satisfaction by J.D. Power

J.D. Power has named Vanguard to the top spot for Investor Satisfaction in its 2025 U.S. Investor Satisfaction Study.

Vanguard has earned the top ranking for do-it-yourself (DIY) Investor Satisfaction in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Investor Satisfaction Study. This is the fourth time Vanguard has received this prestigious recognition.1

“This acknowledgement from J.D. Power speaks to Vanguard’s continued investment in our client experience and is grounded in our mission to take a stand for all investors, to treat them fairly, and to give them the best chance for investment success,” said Matt Benchener, Managing Director of Vanguard’s Personal Investor business. “This award is humbling, and our work is far from over—we will continue to leverage our investors’ feedback to deliver an easy, purpose-driven, and personalized client experience.”

Along with securing the top placement for DIY Investor Satisfaction, Vanguard also ranked number one in three key categories: brand trust, products and service offerings meeting investors’ needs, and value for fees paid.

In 2024, Vanguard continued to enhance its services for self-directed clients by:

  • Launching a new trade path to foster healthy investing behaviors.
  • Delivering more than 30 new releases of its mobile app, each with dozens of improvements driven by client feedback.
  • Redesigning its digital support center by implementing enhanced navigation and personalization, refined content, and expanded chat capabilities.
  • Implementing personalized digital nudges to encourage healthy investing behaviors.
  • Expanding its savings solutions suite by broadly introducing Vanguard’s Cash Plus Account, a cash management account with a competitive 3.65 percent APY, more than eight times the traditional bank savings account2, that provides an integrated approach to how investors view and manage cash alongside their investments.
