On Feb. 13, S&T team members presented a check donation of $1,000 to The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh.

Located just up the road from S&T Bank’s new branch in East Liberty, The Children’s Home & Lemieux Family Center is where holistic care meets family empowerment. The Children’s Home promotes the health and well-being of infants and children through services that establish and strengthen the family and its goal is to make sure every person who walks through the doors feels empowered. Whether it be to take care of their medically fragile child, or to make a life-changing decision, The Children’s Home is steadfast in its support of the community and treats each person as family. In another effort to better the community, the Bank recently served as a $5,000 sponsor for the Akron Children’s Hospital radiothon. Team members presented the check donation, and employees also showed their community commitment by working the phones to collect donations for the hospital fundraiser.

Akron Children’s Hospital has been caring for children since 1890. With two hospital campuses, six regional health centers, and over 50 primary and specialty care locations throughout Ohio, Akron Children’s makes it easier for today’s busy families to find the high-quality care they need. The Hospital also partners with other health systems to bring our neonatal and pediatric expertise to patients in their community hospitals. Learn more here.

These donations of time and money are just some of the many ways S&T Bank prioritizes people and supports the community. In 2024, the Bank dedicated over 25,000 volunteer hours, assisted more than 1,000 organizations with the help of over 1,000 employee volunteers, and donated over $1 million to the communities it serves.
