S&T Bank has cut the ribbon on its newest branch, located at 1349 Wilmington Pike in West Chester, in the Shoppes at Dilworthtown Crossing.

On Saturday, June 26 from 10 AM-2 PM, the bank will host a grand-opening celebration with food, family activities, and free gifts.

In attendance at the ribbon-cutting ceremony were S&T Bank’s leadership team, community members, and bank customers.

“Some banks are holding back; we’re expanding,” said Robert Williams, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager at S&T Bank. “Our growth makes this an exciting time for S&T. At a time when other banks are closing branches, we’re opening one up. And we love the visibility we have here.”

As it continues to grow its outreach efforts in the communities it serves, S&T Bank made a monetary donation to the West Chester Food Cupboard.

“We’re always looking to give to charities and other organizations doing great work in the community,” said Williams. “We believe that hunger is a real issue here. A lot of people don’t understand that, even in a place as well off as Chester County, hunger is a big problem.”

Headquartered in Indiana, Pa., S&T Bank was established in 1902 and operates in five markets: Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Pennsylvania, Northeast Ohio, Central Ohio, and Upstate New York. The full-service financial institution boasts assets of $9.3 billion.
