Ahead of the upcoming Super Bowl, a Berwyn bakery is busier than ever before, writes Dawn Timmeney for Fox29 Philadelphia.
“It was crazy the last Super Bowl, but this is already gone over and beyond. This is nuts and awesome,” said Denise Bones, owner of Clay’s Bakery. “The ovens will run pretty much run 24/7 and we will be here every hour.”
They have been in business for 35 years, but with the Eagles heading to Super Bowl LIX, it’s the busiest the small corner shop has ever been.
Bones is also the Chief Decorator of the bakery and her creative designs and attention to details keep customers coming back time and time again. Clay’s Bakery has cupcakes, cakes, and cookies all decked out in Eagles colors and designs.
Since the demand for Eagles treats is on the rise, the bakery is prepared to make anything a customer would like, with more choices than ever before.
The bakery staff enjoy seeing the community come together, yelling “Go Birds!” as they enter or exit the shop.
