Bradley Cooper, a frequent supporter of the Eagles at the Linc, developed his love for the Birds while growing up in his Jenkintown home, writes Kelsi Karruli for Realtor.com.
The charming home was purchased by the 50-year-old A-lister’s parents, Gloria and Charles, in 1970 for just $38,000. Today, the house is estimated to be worth around $700,000.
Cooper was born five years after his parents had bought the house.
The 2,706-square-foot residence features three bedrooms and three bathrooms and is currently registered to Cooper’s parents. Gloria still uses the property as her primary residence, while Charles sadly died of lung cancer in 2011.
At the time, his mother moved in with her son at his California estate.
“My family is very close, and my dad dying was brutal for all of us,” said Cooper in an interview in 2013. “It was a schism, and its aftershock has not stopped. And we need each other. So here we are.”
Cooper now also owns a home in New Hope, about an hour from his childhood home, which he purchased for $6.5 million.
