PRN/Per Diem Security Officer
Dunwoody Village s seeking Per Diem Security Officers for multiple openings Monday-Sunday. Candidates must be able to work the following shifts including a holiday rotation as needed: 8 AM to 4 PM, 4 PM to 12 AM, and !2 AM to 8 AM.
Security duties are as follows but not limited to:
- This 24-hour facility is looking for staff to handle a variety of duties in addition to the ones below. This may include housekeeping and maintenance duties.
- Patrol and surveils building and grounds to promote a safe environment for residents and staff.
- Respond to all alarms and emergencies within buildings and resolve issues with appropriate personnel.
- Complete incident reports and record in a Security Log Book as appropriate.
This position requires:
- Great communication skills with residents and staff.
- Valid PA driver’s license.
- 1 year of relevant security experience; long term experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work holidays and on call.
- Good or great physical condition for walking for long periods of time.

Full Time Activities Assistant
The Dunwoody Village Recreation Department is looking for a Full-Time Recreation Assistant working 12 to 8 PM, responsible for developing and implementing both group and individual recreation programs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Plan, develop and implement group recreation programs such as exercise class, word games, horticulture, arts and crafts etc.
- Inform residents of daily events and escort residents to and from group programs.
- Identify the individual abilities of residents and plans recreation programs to accommodate those abilities.
- Maintains a daily record of resident’s participation in group and individual programs.
- Assists Manager in evaluating the effectiveness of program and participation levels of residents.
To be considered for the job, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be able to work a weekend and holiday rotation.
- High School graduate.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Office, Facetime, and iTunes.
- Able to read aloud to a group and or individual.
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Organization & time management skills.
- Able to work both independently and with supervision.
- Cheerfulness, positive attitude and the ability to motivate people.
- Genuine liking and respect for the elderly, physically and cognitively impaired.
Candidates with relevant experience in Long Term Care or the Recreation Field are preferred, but Dunwoody will train motivated persons with a desire to work with older adults.

Full Time Registered Nurse
Dunwoody Village is currently seeking dedicated and caring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its team for a Full Time 7 AM to 3:30 PM position, which includes working a weekend and holiday rotation.
This position is eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus paid during first year of employment.
Overall, RNs will provide professional supportive care to the residents of Dunwoody Village who reside in the Skilled, Personal Care, Memory Support, or Rehab areas. They will be responsible for the evaluation and assessment of the physical, mental, and psycho-social needs of the resident to determine if further professional intervention is appropriate.
