Director of Personal Care & Dunwoody at Home

Dunwoody Village is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and intrinsically motivated leader to lead its Personal Care and Home Care programs.

This person will be responsible for all aspects of the personal care and memory support neighborhoods in the Dunwoody Village Care Center as well as Dunwoody at Home.

This position is integral and highly visible not only in both of these programs but throughout our community and is a member of the Leadership Team. This is a unique opportunity to make dramatic and positive changes in the lives of others.

The Director of Personal Care & Dunwoody at Home is responsible for ensuring quality care and high resident satisfaction by partnering with the interdisciplinary team.

This administrator ensures compliance with all regulations and develops, revises, and implements policies and procedures for personal care services and lifestyle programs, including Montessori and the Transitional Care Model.

As a member of the leadership team, the Director of Personal Care & Dunwoody at Home will be involved in Strategic and Master Planning and serve as a member of the Healthcare Committee.  

A successful candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Current credentials and at least 5 years of experience as a PA Personal Care Administrator.
  • The intrinsic ability and personal desire to successfully lead and motivate a team of dedicated and talented healthcare professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high performing teams through coaching and mentoring.
  • Experience with, and interest in, Person Centered Care.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and budgetary skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with quality assurance, compliance, and risk management skills; Strategic planning experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with Point Click Care (PCC) or similar medical records system.

A successful candidate must have experience with age specific competencies of the geriatric population in a long-term care setting.

Dunwoody Village embraces a Montessori-based resident care program and relevant experience is highly desirable (or demonstrated willingness to lead Personal Care in this regard).

This person should also have strong computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs. The ability to positively communicate with people of diverse backgrounds and educational levels is paramount.

Full Time Certified Nursing Assistant

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking dedicated and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join its team for a Full Time 11 PM to 7 AM position, which includes working a weekend and holiday rotation.

Those hired will receive a $4,000 sign on bonus during their first year of employment.

Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA job duties include:

  • Providing exceptional resident care according to Plan of Care.
  • Assisting residents with personal care and hygiene.
  • Providing a safe environment for residents and colleagues. 

Eligible candidates must meet the following qualifications: 

  • Point Click Care experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be a PA licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current CPR certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills.

All offers of position are contingent based upon successful completion of a background check, 2two completed references, COVID-19 vaccination, Influenza record, and drug screen.

PT EVS Technician, 7 AM-3 PM (every weekend)

Dunwoody Village is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Environmental Services Technician (EST) to fill Part Time openings every Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 3 PM. Candidates must also be available to work a holiday rotation as needed.

The EST is responsible for providing a clean environment to all assigned areas including but not limited to resident rooms, offices, bathrooms, and/or storage areas.

The EST is responsible for the daily sweeping, mopping, and burnishing of the main corridor and resident room floors.

The EST has a strong working knowledge of and can demonstrate sanitizing and disinfection of bathrooms and common areas.

They will perform any and all duties as assigned. The candidate must have 1+ years of experience as an EST housekeeper. Floorcare experience is preferred.

All job offers are contingent on a successful criminal background check, drug screening, COVID vaccination, Influenza vaccination and 2 successfully completed references.
