The strength of Montgomery County’s craft beer scene is proven once again, with Tired Hands Brewing Company in Ardmore producing five of the 29 highest-rated IPAs in Pennsylvania, according to a report from Stacker.
Stacker compiled the list using data from BeerAdvocate.
The highest rated beer is Double Milkshake IPA – EXTRA Vanilla in second place. This 9.20 percent ABV brew has a score of 4.42 from 135 ratings.
Next is Extra Extra Knuckle in fourth place. The New England IPA received a 4.4 score from 150 ratings.
Double Milkshake IPA – Mango, a 9.70 percent ABV brew, is next in fifth place with a 4.45 score from 57 ratings.
Eviscerated Pathway Of Beauty follows at No. 7. The New England IPA has a score of 4.38 from 153 ratings.
The list is rounded out by Alien Church, a New England IPA at No. 8. The brew has a score of 4.35 from 765 ratings.
Victory Brewing Company is also featured on the list with two brews: DirtWolf at No. 11 and Hot Ranch at No. 22. Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company made an appearance with The Shape Of Hops To Come at No. 15.
