Gina Tomassone of Phoenixville’s G. Marie Vintage Talks All Things Fashion
G. Marie Vintage is a clothing line based in Phoenixville and was founded by Gina Tomassone, writes Eileen Smith Dallabrida for Main Line Today.
The clothing line is sold at Shoppe Lieu in Kennett Square and online.
As the founder and owner of a boutique clothing line, Tomassone has put a lot of thought into her personal style. She loves to play with both feminine and masculine pieces, creating a unique look with a ruffled chiffon blouse and an oversized menswear blazer.
“Most of my wardrobe is vintage, and I love making outfits out of different proportions and shapes. I have a slight western vibe and wear vintage cowboy boots with almost anything. The ’60s and ’70s are a huge inspiration to me,” said Tomassone.
Tomassone found her love of fashion at an early age. Since childhood, she reveled in creating outfits for friends and family and quickly learned how to sew to recreate what she saw in fashion magazines and on television.
“I quickly realized that fashion inspired me like nothing else. It ignited a fire inside of me, and I wanted to be involved in any way possible,” she said.
