Family, friends, and first responders gathered at an Eagles watch party to remember Colin Reedy.

Colin Reedy was 25 when he was killed in a car crash during a heavy storm while he and his girlfriend Emily Gindele were responding to an emergency call, writes staff for 6abc.

On Oct. 20, 2023, the pair came off the road and crashed into a tree, sadly leaving Reedy dead at the scene and Gindele with critical injuries, which she has since recovered from.

First responders, family, and friends recently gathered at the West Whiteland Fire Company in Exton where he volunteered to honor his life. They hosted an Eagles watch party for him, and at half-time, held a balloon release.

Additionally, they unveiled a plaque outside the firehouse with his name on it so he will be remembered always.

“Many people, when you ask them who their hero is, they say their dad. For me, I would say it’s my son,” said Brian Reedy, Colin’s father, last year.
