Malvern-based Frontline Education Finds Its New CEO in Penn State Alum Matt Strazza
Malvern-based Frontline Education, an education technology company valued in the billions of dollars, named Penn State alum Matt Strazza as its new CEO, writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
He will start his tenure on Sept. 4. Strazza will replace interim CEO Mike Corkery, who took on the role in May after the departure of Mark Gruzin.
Strazza joins Frontline Education from ConstructConnect, a technology platform for the commercial construction industry. In his new role, he will focus on identifying new market opportunities for the company and growing its presence nationwide.
“I look forward to advancing our market position and ensuring that we remain the provider of choice in K-12 administrative technology,” said Strazza.
The Malvern company provides software for K-12 school district administrators to help them manage their operations, such as hiring, programming, absence management, asset management, and financial management, among others.
Strazza is the latest executive hire for the company that has been overhauling its C-suite since spring last year. The company first added new chief financial, revenue, and client operations officers. In December, it named a new chief technology officer.
