Two of these downtowns lie in Chester County, waiting to be enjoyed. 

Downtown Kennett Square effortlessly blends different architectural styles; colonial-era and Federal-style. With a bountiful business district, featuring restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and a variety of retail stores, Kennett Square creates a charming and picturesque atmosphere. Kennet’s top attractions are the Brandywine Valley Tourism and Information Center, Longwood Gardens, and Anson B. Nixon Park.

The Brandywine Valley Tourism Center acts as the gateway to Kennett Square’s historic and cultural pieces, providing various locations to visit. Longwood Gardens is a grand horticultural garden, providing stunning botanical displays. Anson B. Nixon Park is perfect for nature lovers, creating an oasis downtown.  

Downtown Phoenixville is a historic steel city. The downtown weaves together the proud industrial history of Phoenixville, with its modern contemporary architectural flair. Although Phoenixville got its start in steel, the downtown is now a bustling hub of art and culture.

Enjoy the galleries, boutiques, and dining spots downtown before seeing some of the main Phoenixville attractions. The top attractions are the Colonial Theatre, the Schuylkill River Trail, and the Phoenixville Art Gallery.
