This June, Chester County has some interesting, fun, and interactive events to look forward to all around the area, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.
On June 8 in Wayne, the Wayne Music Festival will have live music, vendors, food from local restaurants, beer gardens, and more. Artists include singer/songwriter Margaret Glaspy, Philly horn band SNACKTIME, and other regional or national acts.
Kennett Square will host Kennett Summerfest on June 9 from 3-7 PM. With some of the finest food and wines, you get your own tasting glass at the entrance for unlimited tasting. Artisans, live music, and samples from local restaurants are available for a $60 ticket price.
Another event in Wayne on June 10-11 is the Summer Workshop at Chanticleer Garden. This event is perfect for those who want to try their hand at gardening or plant handling. Here you’ll learn how to arrange cut flowers, staking plants, and other helpful outdoor skills.
