Charles Boruchowitz, Government Relations Manager at Bentley Systems in Exton, joined the infrastructure software company in 2020 as the firm was going public. As he had previously spent years running campaigns and fundraising for Democratic candidates, Boruchowitz leveraged his political connections to help build the company’s government relations team.
He most recently assisted in crafting federal legislation around FAA funding that authorizes airports to use money from federal grants for software upgrades. He also organized a Pennsylvania infrastructure panel with PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll as one of the participants.
Johnny J. Patterson II, Vice President of Government Relations at Genesis HealthCare in Kennett Square, previously worked for many politicians, including New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and California Gov. Jerry Brown.
After spending years doing campaign work, he settled back in Philadelphia where he used his insights to lead government and community relations for local health companies.
At Genesis, he has managed to secure increased Medicaid reimbursement rates. He also lobbied to ease regulations related to health training programs.
