Bucks County’s Best Pools and Splash Pads to Beat the Summer Heat

As Bucks County braces for an exceptionally hot summer week, residents are eagerly seeking relief from the soaring temperatures. Fortunately, Bucks County offers numerous pools and splash pads to help residents beat the heat, writes Adriana Herrera for the Bucks County Courier Times.  

One popular destination is the Fanny Chapman Memorial Pool in Doylestown, which is open daily through September 2nd. It opens at 9 AM offering a refreshing escape from the heat. 

In Warrington, the Mary Barness Community Pool offers a convenient spot for cooling off. Open daily from 11 AM to 8 PM this pool provides various membership options and day rates.  

The Quakertown Community Pool welcomes members and the public alike, opening for members at 11:30 AM and to the public at noon. 

 This pool provides flexible pricing based on age and time of day. 

For those seeking splash pad fun, options abound in and around Bucks County. The Montgomery Township Splash Pad operates on Fridays and weekends, while the Warwick Township Community Park is open daily from morning until evening. 

Bristol Township Municipal Park also features a splash pad with varying hours throughout the week. 

With so many options available, residents of Bucks County can find the perfect place to cool off and enjoy the summer while staying safe and hydrated.
