Twelve Chester County places are among the fifty cities with the fastest-growing home prices in Pennsylvania.

Twelve Chester County places ranked among the fifty cities with the fastest-growing home prices in Pennsylvania, according to a new report from Stacker. 

Devon ranked highest in third place with a 1-year price increase of $65,717 (7.9 percent) and a five-year price increase of $280,099 (45.5 percent). A typical home value in Devon is now $895,287. 

West Chester is next in ninth place with a 1-year change of $45,970 (8.2 percent) and a five-year change of $183,497 (43.4 percent). A typical home value is currently $606,353. 

Malvern follows at No. 14. The town recorded a 1-year price change of $41,799 (6.1 percent) and a 5-year price change of $215,433 (42.2 percent). 

Berwyn also made the top 15. The recorded increases are $41,434 (5.0 percent) for one year and $260,516 (43.2 percent) for five years.
