Check Out Where Homes Are Selling the Fastest in Chester County

With many buyers looking for a home in Chester County and not enough available inventory, sales are red hot, writes Cynthia Henry for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
The typical home for sale in many ZIP Codes now stays on the market for a week or even less. Still, some areas are in more demand than others and are ahead of places where homes still remain on the market for a month or longer.
In Chester County, ZIP Codes 19335 (Downingtown) and 19390 (West Grove) were the hottest markets in January and February. Houses were being snatched up within four days on average, compared with 19 and 21 days, respectively, a year ago.
ZIP Code 19380 (West Chester) is close behind, with an average of five days on the market.
Next is ZIP Code 19425 (Chester Springs) with a six-day average on the market, followed by ZIP Codes 19344 (Honey Brook) and 19320 (Coatesville) at seven days.
Meanwhile, homes in ZIP Code 19341 (Exton) are seeing a somewhat slower but still-improved speed of sales, with an average of 33 days on the market.
