Three Chester County high schools are on the list of the ten best high schools in Pennsylvania, according to a report from US News.

Three Chester County high schools have found their place on the list of the ten best high schools in Pennsylvania, according to a recently released report from US News, reports FOX 29 Philadelphia.

The outlet reviewed almost 25,000 public high schools around the nation, and 656 schools from Pennsylvania made its final rankings.

The schools were ranked based on six main metrics, including college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth, and graduation rate.

Downingtown STEM Academy ranked highest in second place. The school also made the top 50 best schools nationally at No. 46. It boasts a graduation rate of 99 percent and college readiness of 98 percent.

Next on the list is Conestoga High School in fourth place. The Berwyn school, which ranked at No. 186 nationally, has a 97 percent graduation rate and 63.4 percent college readiness.

The list is rounded out with Great Valley High School in Malvern in seventh place, with a graduation rate of 97 percent and college readiness of 66.8 percent.
