Within the music scene of West Chester stands Pat Black, a dynamic and talented artist who shows his star power through his raw musical talent and genuineness, writes staff for Imperial Networking at 24Hip-Hop.

Black’s use of streetwise lyrics and catchy hooks makes his music resonate with listeners while displaying West Chester’s resilience. 

“I was musically talented at a young age with R&B starting off in a church then fell in love with rap and later Afrobeat,” Black said. With influences like 50 Cent and Michael Jackson, his unique style and dedication to his music are clear. 

Part of his unique style lies in his creative process. As a strong hook writer, Black first picks out the beat, hearing the song before writing it. His memorable hooks are a key component of his success. 

His life is music and that’s evident in his day-to-day routine. “Studio time, write down ideas for music video executions, work, and listen to a lot of music interviews including producers, artists, A&Rs, and label owners,” he shared.  

Black has collaborated with THE GAME, a musical artist from the West Coast. Their song “Black Mask” is out now on all platforms.
