Margaret Andrzejewski, a Phoenixville licensed chiropractor, yoga instructor, and competitive bodybuilder shares her wellness journey.

Margaret Andrzejewski is an accomplished licensed chiropractor, yoga instructor, and competitive bodybuilder in Phoenixville, but she had to overcome considerable adversity to bring her wellness journey to that point, writes Gina Lizzo for the Main Line Today

“For the first seven years of my life, I lived with my parents, who were both cocaine and alcohol abusers,” she said. “It destroyed their lives and the lives around them.”

An injury and prescribed opioids worsened her mother’s situation. Andrzejewski was then taken in by her aunt and uncle, however it was her parents’ experiences that put her on the path to a health and wellness career.

“I learned about the chiropractic field in high school,” she said. “It’s a 100 percent drug-less health profession. I knew I wanted to help people achieve a better lifestyle.”

She believes that in combination with yoga and weight training, chiropractic treatment can significantly improve a person’s overall health and wellness.

“Chiropractic benefits the body by regulating the nervous system through better spinal alignment,” she explained. “Yoga keeps you mobile, flexible, and working on your breath. Weight training helps the entire body stay strong, including the bones. All of this helps the body age as gracefully as possible.”
