Dr. Brandie Keates, founder, CEO and lead chiropractic doctor of Experience Chiropractic in Tredyffrin, has been recognized with the 2023 Small Business Administration’s Woman-Owned Business of the Year Award, writes Donna Rovins for The Daily Local News

When she found out she was the recipient of the award, Keates was shocked.

“I thought I was being punked,” she said and added that she did not even know she was nominated.

Keates started her own clinic two decades ago as the King of Prussia Family Wellness Center. At the time, the clinic focused on sports and family treatment.

In 2006, Keates experienced complications in her pregnancy and was instructed to stop seeing and treating patients.

The experience showed her the need for improvement in the care of expectant mothers. She started applying sports medicine to pregnancy to help women find pain relief and get back to work, something that had not been done before.

Today, Keates’ practice offers general and family chiropractic care as well as prenatal and postpartum chiropractic care through Bloom ay Experience. In addition, massage therapy, sports injury prevention and recovery, electrical stimulation therapy, and kinesiology taping are also available.
