March is filled with amazing events throughout the region, including several Chester County happenings that should not be missed, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today. 

Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour returns to Immaculata University on March 1 and 2. This popular touring version of Banff, the prestigious annual celebration of exceptional outdoor filmmaking, makes 550 stops in over 40 countries. 

The 34th WCU Jazz Festival in West Chester will take place from March 20 to 23 and already boasts an impressive lineup of talent, including West Chester University students and local high schoolers. Even the faculty will take to the stage at the start of the festival to kick off the four-day celebration. Headliners Bob Mintzer & the Criterions will perform at the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre on March 22. 

A little bit outside of Chester County but still close enough, you can enjoy a plethora of colorful posies at this year’s Philadelphia Flower Show, which will start from March 2 and run to March 10.

The nation’s largest horticultural event is guaranteed to impress with its large-scale floral displays that are created by premier designers.
