Pennsylvania once more reaffirmed its place as one of the most beer aficionado-friendly states by having two of its experiences find their place on the best of the US beer scene list, write 10Best Editors for USA Today 10Best.

USA Today compiled the list by asking beer experts to nominate their picks for each of the ten categories. Then, the publication’s readers voted for their favorites.

Barrel & Flow Fest in Pittsburgh came out on the top in the Best Beer Festival category.

During the event, around 3,000 craft beer industry professionals and enthusiasts gather for a weekend that celebrates Black-owned breweries. The event is done in collaboration with Black artists and entrepreneurs from both Pennsylvania and the United States.

Meanwhile, Tröegs Independent Brewing in Hershey topped the Best Brewery Tour category.

Visitors get to enjoy a one-hour guided production tour of the brewery’s facilities. The tour includes a behind-the-scenes look at all the important parts of the brewery, including the mill room, hop cooler, brewhouse deck, fermentation cellars, and packaging lines. Four beer samples are also included in the experience.
