Lehigh Valley native Audrey Andrejko is the Senior Manager, Human Resources at West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc., where she serves as a trusted business partner for four client groups.

“I joined West in October 2022 and have leveraged my 18 years of HR experience to support strategic workforce planning, leadership development, culture and engagement, continuous improvement initiatives, and career development for our team members,” said Andrejko. “I am humbled by the feedback and recognition of my client groups and key stakeholders and proud to have established great rapport, an effective leadership style, and a valuable strategic partnership with my client set.”

Andrejko secured her first job at the age of 15 at Rita’s Italian Ice in Emmaus, and she recalls enjoying working with customers even at that young age.

“I was always client-service focused, even at a young age, and I remember being so surprised when I received my first tip from a customer,” said Andrejko. “As time passed, I started receiving tips regularly and began putting them in a ceramic jar in my room when I got home. Even after all these years, the jar is still displayed proudly on a shelf in the basement and filled with tip money to this day!”

Andrejko attended Emmaus High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Millersville University. She also holds a master’s degree in human resource development from Villanova University.

“Professionally, I completed the PHR certification, am trained in Gallup Strengths Coaching, and am a long-time member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM),” added Andrejko.

Throughout her career, Andrejko states that she has had quite a few notable managers who impacted her career. One, in particular, was the manager in her first HR Generalist role.

“I was young and eager, and because of that, I wasn’t afraid to try anything,” said Andrejko. “I was lucky to have the trust of my manager to be involved in very high-level corporate initiatives, employee engagement projects, Affirmative Action planning, onboarding and leadership training, and lead philanthropy events. I was able to show my worth in several different areas, which helped me gain early exposure and knowledge that helped me grow as an HR professional.”

Andrejko’s proudest professional moment, aside from being nominated as a VISTA Millennial Superstar, is graduating with a 4.0 GPA from Villanova and receiving her master’s degree in HR while working full-time and adjusting to being a first-time mother.

Two of Andrejko’s favorite Chester County breweries are East Branch Brewing Co. and Station Taproom.

Andrejko and the rest of the 2024 Class of VISTA Millennial Superstars will be honored at the Awards Reception & Celebration on Thursday, May 9 at Penn State Great Valley.
