Pennsylvania’s Safest Towns Include 8 From Chester County

Eight Chester County towns are among the safest places to live in Pennsylvania as of February 2024, according to ElitePersonalFinance.

Eight Chester County towns are among the fifty safest places to live in Pennsylvania as of February 2024, according to a recently released report from ElitePersonalFinance.

To determine the ranking, ElitePersonalFinance used the latest data from FBI crime statistics and calculated the number of violent crimes per 1,000 residents.

East Vincent Township ranked the highest as the ninth-safest place in Pennsylvania. The town of 7,232 residents had no violent crimes, which gave it a crime score of 0,00.

East Marlborough Township came tenth, and Upper Uwchlan Township, at No. 12, both also had no violent crimes with a crime score of 0,00.

East Coventry Township is next at No. 19. The total number of crimes in the town was one. This puts its crime score at 0,15.

West Vincent Township follows at No. 29 with one violent crime and a crime score of 0,18.

Kennett Township recorded two violent crimes and a crime score of 0,24, putting it at No. 41.

East Whiteland Township and North Coventry Township are close behind at No. 42 and No. 43, respectively. Both towns had two violent crimes and a crime score of 0,25.

And while not in the top 50, Willistown Township is close enough at No. 52.
