Exton-based West Pharmaceutical Services recently donated $400,000 to the Eagles Autism Foundation in support of its mission to advance autism research and care programs.
Half of the investment will be a direct donation to the Eagles Autism Foundation and half will be as a presenting partner of the Eagles Autism Challenge, the Birds’ signature fundraising event.
“West is proud to expand our partnership in support of the Eagles Autism Foundation and Eagles Autism Challenge, whose mission is to directly support and advocate for autism research,” said Eric M. Green, President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chair of the Board of Directors at West.
West Pharmaceutical Services will serve as the Presenting Sustainability Partner of the Eagles Autism Challenge Finish Line Celebration as part of the contribution. The global leader in innovative solutions for injectable drug administration will receive naming rights to the event’s Sensory Walk – West Sensory Walk.
“We are truly inspired by the generosity of West and would like to thank them for making such a significant contribution to the Eagles Autism Foundation,” said Ryan Hammond, Executive Director of Eagles Autism Foundation.
The 7th annual Eagles Autism Challenge will be held on Saturday, May 18.
