Terrain, the home and garden brand from URBN, is preparing to open its new event space, the Atrium at Terrain Gardens, in Devon this May, writes Ariana Perez-Castells for The Philadelphia Inquirer. 

The venue will have a capacity of up to 66 people. 

“We continually get inquiries for smaller events, showers, and social events on the scale of about 35 to 60,” said Adam DeAngelo, executive director of URBN’s menus and venues division. “We continue to turn them away, which we don’t like to say no to people.” 

The company currently runs Terrain Gardens at Devon Yard, which can seat between 125 and 130 people comfortably. This new space will be ideal for hosting smaller-scale events such as birthdays, showers, and rehearsal dinners. The space already has booked events for more than half of its first operational month. 

“The venue epitomizes the seamlessness of indoor and outdoor celebration that Terrain is known for,” said DeAngelo. 

The Atrium will open in the space that was previously home to Amis Trattoria, an Italian restaurant that is also part of URBN’s brands.
