Hiking Around Chester County is Perfect Way to Start Off the New Year

While the Philadelphia area has many gorgeous preserves and hiking spots to cover, staying local is key to jumpstarting your 2024 on a high note. Check out these Chester County hiking grounds for your next trip outdoors.
With over 50,000 trees on 112, acres Binky Lee Preserve in Chester Springs is made for wildlife lovers. With plenty of birds, deer, and other critters roaming around the land, you’re likely to spot a fuzzy friend while on your hike.
A staple of the county, Marsh Creek State Park has many entry locations, including the “front” which has views of the thin sandy beaches along the wide lake. Meanwhile, on the “back” side, you can climb up the dam to get a bird’s eye view.
Another beauty to check out is ChesLen Preserve in Coatesville. The 1,300 acres make for extensive hiking and exploration.
