Girl Scout Cookie Season Starts Next Week in Chester County, Around the Nation

Girl Scout cookies have arrived in their warehouses to be distributed ahead of cookie season starting next week.

Just over the weekend, over 5,800 cookies made it safely to the Valley Forge Service Center in Chester County in preparation for the local Girl Scout troops to begin their annual cookie sales that we love, writes staff for 6ABC.

The cookies are being distributed to the troops ahead of the sale date of Jan. 18. Cookies will be available until March 10 and can be found online, by checking the Girl Scouts website and typing in your zip code to see where they are sold, and outside shopping centers where troops tend to set up camp for business.

“When people buy Girl Scout Cookies, they’re buying so much more than cookies. Every package of Girl Scout Cookies sold puts girls one step closer to making real change in their own futures, communities, and the world,” said GSUSA Chief Revenue Officer Wendy Lou. “Girls break expectations through the power of the cookie program and open a host of possibilities beyond the box.”

Cookie funds go towards supporting that troop, programs, activities, and more. Meanwhile, girls learn valuable skills such as decision-making, money management, customer service, and business ideals.

The 2024 lineup includes Adventurefuls, Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Samoas, and other favorites.
