The Pour House in Exton is one of the many PJW Restaurant Group establishments to receive a complete revamp starting in 2024.

New Jersey-based PJW Restaurant Group is preparing to completely revamp its Pour House restaurant chain, including the Exton location, writes Emma Dooling for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The restaurant group is relaunching both its food and beverage menu starting on Feb. 1.

The updates to the three locations have been in process for the last five months. In addition to the food and beverage changes, the revamp will include a more colorful physical menu and new wine and beer glasses, along with other fresh tableware.

The full menu is still being worked on, but CEO Jim Fris has teased a new smash burger product that the restaurant group has already been testing.

Currently, the Pour House and P.J. Whelihan’s overlap in certain items on the menu, especially when it comes to casual pub fare like wings, nachos, fries, burgers, and sandwiches. The revamp aims to further differentiate between the two.

“We want to re-differentiate P.J.’s and Pour House, and we’re excited about a lot of the pieces of the puzzle coming together there,” said Fris.

No renovations will be included in the changes to the Pour House concept.
