Sabriyaah Hines, 18, started Nails Couture by Bri when she was just 15 years old.

In Upper Darby, a young entrepreneur is providing Couture press-on nails, and her business, Nail Couture by Bri, is thriving, reports Wakisha Bailey for CBS News Philadelphia.

Eighteen-year-old Sabriyaah Hines started the business at the height of the pandemic while still a 15-year-old in high school.

“I do all types of press on nails,” Hines said. “I can customize any set you want.”

Hines said she can create a set of nails based on something the customer is inspired by. Her sets start at $25, depending on what you’re looking for. What’s trending? A press-on nail that resembles a French manicure with a lot of texture.

Hines works out of her family’s home, and her business has been growing.

Business booms right before summertime and during the holidays.

“A lot of girls are starting to switch to press-on because they do so much; they model, they do photo shoots, they need different looks,” Hines said.

Press-on nails are easy, interchangeable, go on in minutes and come off in seconds. They can last two weeks to a month.

Hines hopes Nail Couture by Bri will pay for college, where she hopes to study veterinary medicine.
