A new construction home in Malvern, designed by Marshall Sabatini Architecture +, seamlessly combines clean modern lines and elements of traditional style, writes Sandy Smith for Philadelphia Magazine.

This is reflected in the living room and home office, both of which have crown moldings. The elegant dining room also boasts crown moldings and a coffered ceiling. Meanwhile, the spacious living suite has clean lines and no traditional ornamentation.

The heart of the home is the great room with its dramatic black beamed vaulted ceiling that is complemented by a shiplap fireplace. Sliding doors provide access to a wraparound patio and the large backyard.

The breakfast room in the everyday living suite also has access to the patio and backyard.

The chef’s kitchen is lavishly outfitted and boasts granite and quartz countertops, top-of-the-line appliances, and an oversized island with bar seating for four.

The second level is home to five bedrooms, three of them with en-suite baths and the remaining two share a Jack-and-Jill bath. The primary suite with a coffered tray ceiling also has a sitting room attached.

The home is at 1405 Le Boutillier Rd. and available for sale for $2,600,000. See photos of the home at Philadelphia Magazine, too.
