It is the festive time of the year when kids are expecting to see and talk to Santa Claus, and several magical events in Chester County will make that possible, writes Kylee Steigelman for Main Line Today.

Santa on the Fire Truck in West Chester will let you catch a glimpse of Santa Claus every Saturday at 3 PM through Dec. 16. Santa parades around the town as part of weekend holiday festivities.

Visit the German Christmas Market in Phoenixville on Dec. 16 to enjoy German puppet theater and one-of-a-kind gifts from small businesses, and most importantly, meet-and-greets with Santa.

Another opportunity to see Santa in Phoenixville is during Christmas at Colonial on Dec. 23. Buying a ticket for the event includes meeting Santa, as well as visiting the light show, and getting to enjoy some complimentary hot chocolate and candy canes. Santa meets-and-greets will take place in the heated greenhouse from 6 PM to 8 PM.
