West Chester’s Bam Margera, of ‘Jackass’ Fame, Receives Shoutout From Mark Wahlberg for His Sobriety

Bam Margera with son, Phoenix. The West Chester native and former Jackass star announced he is more than 100 days sober – prompting a shoutout from Mark Wahlberg.

West Chester native Bam Margera, the former Jackass star, announced he is more than 100 days sober and credited his girlfriend, the gym, and skateboarding for helping him achieve that milestone, according to a staff report from TMZ

Margera is currently busy in San Antonio. He is working on a new movie and developing new artwork for a clothing company. He is also making sure to work out daily and is skating again. 

Margera also got a nice shoutout from Mark Wahlberg after he sent him a note to say he was approaching 120 days sober. Wahlberg responded with a video in which he congratulated Margera for his achievement and said he was hoping to connect with him soon in Las Vegas

Margera has met Wahlberg a few times at awards shows and parties and is planning to get together with him when time permits it for both of them. 

Margera added that he also got cleared to see his son, Phoenix, so he is now planning on visiting California to see him.
