VK Brewing in Exton Celebrates One Year in Business
Exton’s VK Brewing, run by Jason Van Keuren and Najib Abiaad, is celebrating its first anniversary this week, writes Chadd Balbi for Breweries in Pennsylvania.
The veteran-owned brewery opened its doors in the former home of The Ship Inn on Nov. 15, 2022. The historic building dates back to 1796 and has been host to numerous famous people over the years, including former presidents George Washington and Andrew Jackson. The building was even featured in an episode of Chef Robert Irvine’s Food Network show Restaurant: Impossible in 2021.
Over the last year, VK Brewing has focused on offering its guests excellent hand-crafted beer, craft cocktails, and amazing food in a friendly atmosphere.
Thanks to Abiaad’s extensive experience as a restaurateur and Van Keuren’s background in homebrewing, the brewery is managing to offer a truly unique dining experience for its patrons.
Now for the anniversary, the pair plans a major celebration on Saturday, Nov. 18, where they will release new beer to go alongside a pig roast and cupcakes.
