The Creamery in Kennett Square Offers Icy Cold Fun to the County This Winter
The Creamery in Kennett Square, a favorite spot for winter outings, now offers even more fun activities thanks to the addition of a new ice skating rink, writes Melissa Jacobs for Main Line Tonight.
The restaurant and beer garden is known for its holiday markets and various other special events. Starting from Dec. 1, visitors will now be able to enjoy its ice rink as well.
“The fullest expression of The Creamery is when people can enjoy both the outdoor and indoor aspects of it,” said Luke Zubrod, chief of staff of Square Roots Collective, which operates The Creamery.
The new ice rink is 40 feet by 80 feet and it can hold 50 people at a time. Timed tickets are $10 for a one-hour session. Ice skates are available for rental for a $5 rental fee.
The rink will be open on Fridays from 4:30 to 8:30 PM, Saturdays from 12:30 to 9 PM, and Sundays from 12:30 to 6 PM.
