The number of gluten-free bakeries in Pennsylvania is slowly increasing, with one of the best ones being right here in Chester County, writes Emily Kovach for PA Eats. 

Tiers of Joy Gluten-Free Bakery in West Chester makes stunning custom-tiered cakes that will be adored by any bride and groom looking for a gluten-free wedding cake. There are plenty of other casual treats on the menu as well, from buttercream cookie sandwiches to cupcakes and donuts. 

The bakery does not have a storefront so all orders have to be made online. The finished products can be picked up from the Artisan Exchange at Matlack Industrial Center. 

The bakery also sells its product at a monthly Saturday farmers market at the same location. 

“Tiers of Joy made the cake and cupcakes for our son’s wedding. Stepped in at the last minute with the save when there was a goof-up on our end. Delicious. Enthusiastic feedback from our guests…even those who are not gluten-free! We will be repeat customers,” said customer Pamela Cura on their site.
