Wanderlust Donuts, a specialty shop that will serve artisan donuts made with all-natural ingredients, is coming to Kennett Square this summer, writes Jen Samuel for The Daily Local News. 

The owner of the new shop is Vince Mignone, whose long-standing dream was to create good donuts for the people of Chester County — where he lives with his wife, Malynn Kuangparichat, and their son and two daughters. 

“For me, the perfect donut is always too far away,” said Mignone. 

Mignone has spent the past several months renovating the venue that was previously home to Fran Keller’s Eatery. 

Wanderlust Donuts will feature around 20 different styles of donuts on any given day, with around a quarter of them being vegan and gluten-free varieties. The donuts will have natural dye and fruit glacés, and all of the ingredients will be visible to customers. 

“I want everybody to know what you’re eating,” said Mignone. 

For the owner, who previously worked in hospitality, this is the first venture into running his own business. 

“I wanted to bring something good to our hometown for all to enjoy,” he said. 

The highly anticipated donut shop will be open Wednesday through Sunday.
