West Chester Friends School Welcomes New Members to the Board of Trustees

Two West Chester Friends School students enjoy an art project. The school recently welcomed new members to its board of trustees.


Several new members joined the West Chester Friends School board of trustees. In all, five new members were welcomed to the board.

Bobby Broderick graduated from West Chester Friends School in 2006 and continued his Quaker education at Wilmington Friends School.

A 2017 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he has recently returned to the West Chester area, where he lives with his wife. He
works in portfolio review at Vanguard, in the selection and oversight of portfolio managers.

A member of the Westtown Monthly Meeting, Bruce Harrison is a graduate of Westtown School and West Chester University and is the founder of Harrison Home Services.

He previously served on the board of directors for Oak Lane Day Care and as a clerk for Westtown Monthly Meeting and Concord Quarterly Meeting.

He is currently serving as the president of Goshen Grange No. 121.

Alison Latta has worked for PriceWaterhouse, a global accounting firm, in audit practice and at Vanguard on their global financial reporting team.

She currently provides consulting services to Vanguard in their financial regulatory and reporting groups and sits on the board of directors of A. Duie Pyle, Inc., and a transportation and logistics company.

She is a current parent at WCFS and a volunteer cook with the St. Agnes Church program to assist those with food insecurity.

Students and staff at West Chester Friends School

Iman Nero is the parent of WCFS alumni. She is the Talent Acquisition Manager at the Malvern School, where she works on staffing and onboarding for educational roles.

She is a human relations specialist who graduated from Cheyney University and received her master’s degree in organizational management from Neumann University.

In addition, she owns and manages two small businesses.

Ida Weygandt is a member of the Class of 1994 at West Chester Friends School. She is a graduate of Bard College and holds an MFA from the Massachusetts College of Art.

Ida currently resides with her family in Chester County and currently works with her family’s wine import business, Weygandt-Metzler.

She is happy to serve on the Board of Trustees at WCFS, “a quietly powerful place that shined such long-lasting goodness upon a young me.”
